5 countries presented on the first edition of the Kite Cup in Nazare - Portugal

Portugal, Norway, France, Marroco, Switzerland are the 5 nationalities present on the first edition of the Yourmood Kite Cup, that start today and will be hold until the next 28^th of August on the beautiful beach of Nazare.

Unfortunately for the first day of competition, the wind was really calm,  which allowed the organization to manage all the inscriptions and riders to discover this beautiful village.

This morning, around 10am, after a hearty breakfast at the luxurious Hotel Miramar (with stunning views of the bay of Nazaré), the riders found themselves on the beach of the resort to discover the freestyle spot.

After the presentation of the festivities for the week, multiples activities were offered to riders to overcome the lack of wind : beach volleyball, visit the city (and improvisation a concert in the street) for other discovery of innumerous waves spot on the other side of the cliff.

Jeremie Tronet and his girlfriend, present on the event, rushed to the beach 'Praia do Norte' to enjoy the waves of about 2m. 'It's Christmas time' Jeremie shouted as he rushed into the water in boardshort !

A few waves later, back at the hotel and peek forecast: tomorrow seems to be a day full of promise! Thermal wind would sweep the spot early in the afternoon, so the single eliminations will be run ...!

A shower, a good dinner and to bed, that's pretty much to what the program will look like the riders for tonight, just to be into their full form tomorrow. The Yourmood Kitecup is on !
