The Yourmood Kitecup summer version will be held soon in 10 days in Portugal, host of stars, among them a Portuguese rider Nuno Figueiredo, certainly one of the best riders in the world waves.

Who better than a local rider can tell us about the conditions of his country? Here are some questions to Nuno:


Nuno, lots of person considered you one of the best waves riders in Portugal and maybe in the world. Why? Can you define yourself?
Really? Just can say that my goal is to make the most of each session. It makes me grow and be on the edge of kiting in the waves.

What do you think about Nazare?

Nazare is a well known high surf performance spot. Big waves and atlantic power combined in one beach. Barrels and broken boards make a normal office day.

And the Kite Cup?
Let´s hope for a strong north wind (“nortada") to have a great show. Huge bet that´s deserves to be won.

Do you think that your performance on snow will be as good as on the water?
I don’t make snowboard yet. Maybe in one year I can reply better to this question.
