The Yourmood Kitecup be held in Nazare, Portugal, in less than a month now.

Jérémie Eloy, famous kiteboarder and Mood ambassador, is an aficionado of Portugal and its spots. With his board under his arm he travels alla round the earth in search of the best places to ride.
Who else better than he could tell us about the potential of this country and this spot, Nazaré ?

It's really a very good thing that the event is held in Portugal, there can be incredible conditions in August, with the thermal wind which blowing ever stronger in the season. So, youcan easily ride in 9m or in 7m at the end of the day.

I know a little northern Portugal (Viana, Porto ...), but especially the south, in Santa Cruz, Guincho and Sagres, I came for several competitions and also trips. Each time it was a pleasure to discover again this country.

The Portuguese are real watermen. Depending on conditions they know riding with everything: stand up, surf, kite, windsurf ... And, actually, they are lovely people who have the sense of fun, so in the wtaer like in the land, life is rough.

Nazaré I know a little too, I have especially great and consistents waves ! Especially in August there may be exceptional conditions, with wind, waves sent by the first depression of the Atlantic, and the sun. All you need to have an intense day in the water!

I will come with pleasure on this new event of Yourmood Kitecup in Nazare, it will be an opportunity for me to return to this country really nice. And I agree 100% with the concept of Kitecup, snowkiting and kite mix, meeting riders from different backgrounds, from different sports, it is always great and rewarding moments.
